I don’t know about you, but I could 100% live on Bruschetta! For me, Bruschetta is the best of everything! Freshness, flavor and crunch… it is absolutely delightful! Perfect any time of year, any occasion, for an appetizer, snack or meal, it is PERFECTION no matter what. I never need an excuse to make it but always have an excuse to EAT it! lol  Enjoy

Bruschetta recipe

Course Appetizer
Cuisine Italian


  • 1 French Baguette ( fresh from Bakery )
  • 1 LG Garlic clove
  • 2 LG Roma Tomatoes ( diced )
  • 1 SM White Onion ( diced )
  • 10 LG Basil Leaves ( chiffonade )
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 LG Pinch Sea Salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper


  • For Bruschetta Topping:
    In a bowl, mix together diced Tomatoes, diced Onions, Basil chiffonade, EVOO, Vinegar, Salt, Black Pepper & Crushed Red Pepper.
    Serve at room temperature.
    For Bread:
    Preheat Oven 425 degrees F
    Diagonally slice Baguette in to 10-12 pieces.
    Drizzle bread with Extra Virgin OIive Oil.
    Sprinkle with Salt & Black Pepper.
    Bake in oven about 7-10 minutes or until edges are slightly gold and crispy.
    While Bread is still hot, thinly slice off one end of the large garlic clove, and rub all over each hot slice.
    Top with Tomato mixture.
