Pesto Recipe

  • Food Processor


  • 2 packed cups fresh Basil
  • 1/3 cup Pignolias ( Pine Nuts )
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh Garlic
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt ( to taste )
  • 1 Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesano-Reggiano Cheese


  • In a Food Processor:
    Combine Pignolias & Basil. Pulse until well blended.
    Add Garlic, Cheese, Salt, Pepper. Blend well.
    Slowly introduce Olive Oil while continuing to blend.
     Serve overcooked pasta, smear on paninis, or on top of veggies!
     The optionsare endless!

NOTE: If you plan to freeze the Pesto, leave the cheese out as it does not thaw well. One you are ready to use your Pesto, let thaw, heat and add freshly grated cheese at that time.
